Mediation Services
Often disagreements or disputes in the horse-related industry can be dealt with by neutral mediation which can help guide willing participants into a solution, avoiding costly litigation, time and aggravation. Mediation is a process wherein which parties to a dispute agree to allow an agreed upon mediator to serve as a facilitator to resolve an issue.
DGB Equine Laws's Diana Bicksler has been an attorney for 25 years, settling many actions with mediation, and believes that a major portion of equine related disagreements can be resolved in this manner.
The goal is have the mediation concluded with a written agreement. This process can potentially save all parties thousands of dollars and years of time which would otherwise be spent in formal litigation.
